*Obituary
A. C. Files, Jr., a 15-year-old boy, was buried at Hot Springs, after being fatally wounded in the country while hunting. He leaned his shotgun against a fence to climb over and the gun was accidentally discharged, the load tearing away his left arm. (Nevada County Picayune - December 12, 1918)
