*John Tyler Thomas "J T" Hamilton was born in Dandridge, Tennessee, the son of Nancy and Joseph. He married Nancy Caroline Dye and they had three children together. He then married Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Tallent and they had three children together. He died on February 22, 1932, and was buried in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
When Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Tallent was born in October 1859 in Calhoun, Mississippi, her father, Solomon, was 31, and her mother, Louisa, was 31. She married John Tyler Thomas "J T" Hamilton in 1887 in Calhoun City, Mississippi. They had three children during their marriage. She died on September 2, 1923, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, at the age of 63, and was buried there.
