*Samphson "Sam" Hamilton was born on October 16, 1898, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, the son of Sarah and John. He married Dorthy Bramblett Moody on December 15, 1923. They had one child during their marriage. He died on March 28, 1968, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 69, and was buried in his hometown.
Dorthy Bramblett Moody was born on March 2, 1905, in Melbourne, Arkansas. She married Samphson "Sam" Hamilton on December 15, 1923. They had one child during their marriage. She died on July 16, 1991, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 86.
