Ailene Henry Maness, age 93, of Carlisle, died Sunday, June 5, 2011, at the Chamber Nursing Home in Carlisle.
Mrs. Maness was born February 27, 1918, in Mt Vernon, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Boss Henry and Laura Carter Henry.
Mrs. Maness was reared and educated in Conway, where she attended the Conway schools.
She had been a resident of Pine Bluff from 1973 to 1993, at which time she moved to Humphrey. She lived there until moving to Hunphrey in 1993.
Mrs. Maness was a homemaker and a member of the Humphrey Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Maness, whom she married May 21, 1938, in Mt. Vernon.
She is survived by two son, Jimmy Dale Maness of Stuttgart and Gary Gene Maness of Russellville; brother, J. C. Henry of Galveston, Texas, five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grqandchildren.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery near Rosebud in White County.
