BELLA VISTA — IvaGean (Jean) Noel, 88, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Monday, June 20, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
She was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Edna, Kan., to George and Vera Roles. The family later moved to La Habra, Calif., where Jean spent her teenage years.
In 1949, Jean married George Hendrix of Parsons, Kan. She continued to reside in Parsons after his death in 1977, and became deeply involved with organizing and managing the volunteer program at Labette County Medical Center. In 1980, she married Alan Noel, also of Parsons. Following his death in 1989, Jean moved to Bella Vista.
Survivors include her son, George Hendrix of Carbondale, Colo.; three grandchildren, Ben Hendrix of Newcastle, Colo., Zachary Hendrix of Boulder, Colo., and Jason Snook of Yukon, Okla.; two great-grandchildren; her nephew, Henry Collins of Vinita, Okla.; her son-in-law, John Snook of Blanchard, Okla., and her partner of 19 years, Bob Beatty of Bella Vista, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, April Snook.
