M Louise Blackwell, DDS 87, passed away November 6, 2009. Ms. Blackwell was a 1954 graduate of U.T. Dental College. At the time of her graduation, Ms. Blackwell was the second woman that had ever graduated from U.T. Dental College. She remained in practice here in Memphis until her retirement. She is survived by her brother, John T. Blackwell (Reva) of Searcy, AR; god-daughter, Anna Brown (Michael) of Raleigh, NC; nieces, Mona Campbell and Cindy Warren (Glen); (great-) nephew, John Campbell; and many friends who she loved dearly. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Family Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be sent to the U.T.
