Kenneth D. Ring the son of R. O. And Nolia Mae Holliman Ring was born in Heber Springs on January 14, 1942 and passed away at his home in Heber Springs on September 4, 2005 at the age of 63 years. Mr. Ring was a welder and he attended the Gospel Light Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and Hank Williams' music. Survivors are his son Kenneth D. Ring Jr. and wife Betty of Quitman, daughters Malinda Lawson and husband J. R. of Heber Springs and Melissa Ann Tippy and husband Todd of Searcy; three brothers Ira Ring, Calvin Ring, Rayburn Ring; and sister Emilene Haney. Mr. Ring is also survived by 7 grandchildren Brittney Lawson, Paige Lawson, Parker Ring, Joey Ring, Jessica Britton, Jacob Tippy, and Caleb Tippy along with other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday September 6, 2005 at Olmstead Funeral Home with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 PM and funeral services will be at 10:00 AM in Olmstead Chapel on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery near Rose Bud, Arkansas, with Rev. Mark Bishop officiating. Arrangements by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. of Heber Springs.
