Wilma Maxine Bittle, 86, of Conway, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Heritage Living Center. She was born January 18, 1923, in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Herman and Novella (Skaggs) Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy L. Bittle. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. She and her husband had volunteered with the Red Cross, working blood drives. She had been active with the Vilonia Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her children, John Bittle and wife Bonnie of Lake Lure, North Carolina; Danny Bittle and wife Darlene of Conway; Sue Rhodes and husband, Roger of Niles, Michigan; sisters, Bonnie Kephart, Clenna Hill; brothers, Randy and Charles Hill; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews and nieces.
