BELLA VISTA — Calvin (Cal) Lloyd Sterry passed away peacefully at home April 10, 2021, while surrounded by his family.
Cal was born in Watertown, S.D., and eventually moved to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, where he grew up. He later moved to California during his junior year of high school, where he enjoyed an exciting career in the movie business, retiring as a "Key Grip".
He enjoyed a long and joyful retirement in Bella Vista with his beloved wife, Georgiana, of 61 years. They could often be found spending time together on the golf course or playing cards with their friends. They are members of the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista.
Cal is survived by his wife, Georgie and their three children, Bob (Shirlene) Sterry of Covina, California, Lisa (Roger) Barton of Bentonville and Ella (Phillip) Mullen of Argyle, Texas; his sister, Beverly Ward of California; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cal's life will be honored at Bella Vista Presbyterian Church April 17, 2021, at 1 p.m.
