Dora Elizabeth Hughes, age 99 years and 11 months, died Monday, February 13, 2006. She was born Thursday, March 15, 1906 in Romance, Arkansas to Julie and Julian Hays. She is survived by one daughter Chlois Honley; one daughter-in-law Marie Quattlebaum; three step-daughters Myrtle Lee Barker, Hazel Barnes, and Myrtis Hammond; 5 grandchildren Jerry Covington and his wife Judy, Janita Hodges and her husband Scotty, Donnie Quattlebaum, Martha Tassly, and Barbara Elias; 11 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Hughes; two sons Carthel Quattlebaum and Gary Hughes; and three step-sons Orville Hughes, Dured Hughes, and Earl Hughes. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following at Gray Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
