John Marks FEASTER, III

Oak Grove Cemetery
Calhoun County,
Arkansas

November 8, 1971 - June 7, 2018

John Marks Feaster III began his life on November 8, 1971 at Wadley Hospital in Bowie County Texas. He was the first child born to Marks and Kay Feaster and would be the Feaster’s only son. John attended Texas Tech College and was a lifelong Red Raider fanatic ...“Get Your Guns Up”. He had a big heart and never knew a stranger, during his brief life he accumulated many friends that became his family. This is because John lived out his favorite scripture - 1 Thessalonians 5:14...cheer up those who are discouraged, help those who are weak. And be patient with everyone. John always told great stories about his life growing up but the happiest day of his life, he would say, was the day Mary became his wife. John was a simple man and loved the simple things in life, his family and friends, all things Texas Tech, fishing and a nice cold beer.

John lost his battle with cancer but won everlasting life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 7, 2018. He passed peacefully at his home in Park City Kansas with his wife by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents John Marks Feaster Jr. and Evelyn Kay (Lilley) Feaster, his maternal grandparents Roy and Opal Lilley, and paternal grandparents John Marks Sr. and Elsie Feaster.

John is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary Susan Feaster, his son Rocky (Hope) Gallardo, daughter Adriana Gallardo all of Wichita, KS; his sister Cynthia (Charlie) Schreiner, nephew Leo, niece Quinn all of Florida. The Greatest joy of his life, beside his wife, was spending time with his grandchildren Don Rodrigo, Anthony, Beniah, Adriyon, and Carpenter all of Wichita.
