Herman Robert Waggle, 93, of Searcy went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2013.
He was born on January 3rd, 1920 in Higginson, AR to John and Lilly Waggle. A World War II veteran serving in Germany, Herman retired in 1985 from a career as a plaster and stucco mason. He enjoyed wood working and gardening and those who knew him enjoyed all he made and grew. Herman was a member of the Harmony Methodist Church for 73 years.
Herman was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Thelma, one infant son , his parents, four sisters: Ettie Hopper, Dollie Waggle, Ada Parson and Lou Ella English; five brothers: Lee, Charlie, Williard, Orvile and Wilburn Waggle. He is survived by one brother Quartase (Virginia) Waggle of Searcy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday April 3 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy.
Interment will be in the Harmony Cemetary.
The family requests memorials to Harmony United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
