George Stephenson Gooden, 90, of Hot Springs, passed away on May 16, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1924 in Multnomah County, Oregon to James and Nina Gooden. George retired from the United States Merchant Marine Corp. He was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking. He was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He is predeceased by his parents, wife, Lorrine Gooden and sister, Gladys Gooden. Loving survivors include brother, Bill Gooden and sister, Grace Gooden. George chose cremation and to have his cremains buried next to his beloved wife, Lorrine.
