*When Nellie Evergreen Putman was born on March 8, 1910, in Arkansas, her father, George, was 35, and her mother, Etta, was 31. She married Thomas Charles Manning and they had two children together. She then married Charlie Edward Fox and they had one son together. She died as a young mother on March 19, 1939, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 29.
