*When James Robert Polk was born on January 26, 1888, in Webster, Mississippi, his father, James, was 31 and his mother, Margaret, was 26. He married Florence Nelly Sparrow and they had eight children together. He also had one son with Mable Polk. He died on December 1, 1933, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 45, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
