*When George Washington Grubbs was born in June 1867 in Tennessee, his father, Uriah, was 39 and his mother, Mary, was 27. He married Carrie Jane Whitney and they had five children together. He then married Carrie Jane Whitney and they had five children together. He died on November 22, 1936, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 69, and was buried there.
Carrie Jane Whitney was born on March 18, 1872, in Madison, Iowa. She married George Washington Grubbs on July 2, 1903, in Beatrice, Nebraska. They had five children in 11 years. She died on March 28, 1949, in Van Buren, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
