*When Jewel L Heggie was born on August 18, 1910, in White, Arkansas, her father, William, was 35, and her mother, Rosie, was 31. She married Joseph Daniel Rushin on April 16, 1925. They had four children during their marriage. She died on April 7, 2009, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 98, and was buried in her hometown.
