Rena Byars Mitchell, 84, widow of John Louis Mitchell, died May 25, 2012. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Horton and Butch Young, both of Searcy, and Deborah Podgorny of Yellville; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Horton and Bo Young. Memorial service Saturday, 2 p.m., Harmony Methodist Church, Searcy. www.olmstead.cc.
