*When Thomas James Hackler was born on April 22, 1844, in Tennessee, his father, Chesley, was 24 and his mother, Mary, was 24. He married Mary Elizabeth Furgerson Ferguson in 1868. They had five children in 11 years. He died on March 5, 1904, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 59.
When Mary Elizabeth Furgerson Ferguson was born on July 12, 1849, in Mississippi, her father, W., was 27, and her mother, Talitha, was 20. She married Thomas James Hackler in 1868. They had five children in 11 years. She died on May 23, 1909, at the age of 59, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
