MULBERRY Richard Eugene Niswonger, 62, of Mulberry died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, in a local hospital. He was of the Pentecostal faith, a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a truck driver for Enterprize Trucking.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with military honors. Cremation will follow.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; eight daughters, Angela Geabau of Colorado, Marsha Niswonger of Missouri, Carlene Fletcher and Tina Black, both of Mulberry, Donna McCellan of Rogers, Mary Aldridge of Van Buren, Lisa Beaudry of Florida and Joan Wall of Alma; a son, Jerry Reed of Alma; five sisters, Kathleen Poe, Alma Posey and Bonnie Gamble of Illinois and Mabel Rowe and Beulah Wampler of Missouri; two brothers, Edward and Alvin Niswonger of Missouri; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
