William "Bill" Aubrey Prothro, age 69 of Rose Bud, Arkanas passed away peacefully on the morning of June 23, 2013 while surrounded by his family. Bill escaped the bondage of cancer and then entered his Heavenly home of eternal peace and love.

A loving husband and father, Bill was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason and loved nothing more than fellowship and spending time with his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Nanny Lou Prothro and Pauline Henry; two sisters, Dorothy and Virginia.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sissy after being blessed with nearly 51 years of marriage; his three sons, Tony (Regina), Todd (Duana), Travis (Rhonda); his daughter, Teresa (Jon); nine grandchildren, Kody, Kaleb, Zach, Zeb, Harley, Heather, Dillon, Lindsey and Paige; one great-granddaughter, Karlee; two sisters, Barbara Anne Clatt and Mary Hodges; and a host of other loved family members and friends.

Choose for yourself this day whom you will serve, as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Family Funeral Service Chapel and funeral service will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at South Crossroads Baptist Church by Rev. Kenneth Rolland, Jr. with internment at Bethesda Cemetery.
