Bessie Humble, 80, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away February 10, 2009, at home surrounded by family.
She was born on July 28, 1928, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, daughter of the late Mertyle and Frank Humble. She was the oldest of five siblings. Ms. Humble was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church. She was employed by Coleman Dairy for thirty years, retiring in 1995.
She is survived by her siblings Harold, Nita Faye, Dorothea, and Sue; and her cousins, nieces and nephews.
A church service will be held at Henderson United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 17 at 10 a.m.; followed by a graveside service at Bethesda Cemetery in Rose Bud, Arkansas at 2 p.m.
At the family's request, please send donations to the Henderson United Methodist Church Building Fund, 13000 West Baseline Road, Little Rock, AR 72210 in lieu of any flower arrangements.
Visitation will be held at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 (501) 455-5800 on Monday, February 16 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
