Ernest "Dick" McNair, 80, of Rose Bud, died Friday, August 12, 2011. He was born November 25, 1930, in Marianna, Arkansas, the son of Homer and Jessmine McNair.
He is survived by his companion, Dwade Hall of Rose Bud; a son, Rodney McNair of Witt Springs, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Ronda Derendinger of Oklahoma City and Peggy Barlow of Rose Bud; three brothers, Howard, Cecil and Roger McNair; three sisters, Betty Fear, Sara Desatel, and Patsy Edgin; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a shot of nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
