Austin C. Patton, 54, 3105 Backus Ave., Springdale, died Dec. 4 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born May 7, 1925, at Archey, he was the son of George and Mary Hayes Patton and was a welder and drill press operator. He moved to Springdale in 1977 from Whittier, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Paula Penny Patton of the home; one son, Luther Patton; and two daughters, Penny Kay and Patty Jean Patton all of the home; one brother, Loyd Patton of Fairmount, Ind.; five sisters, Mrs. Beulah Williams of Alton, Mo., Mrs. Lola Briscoe, Mrs. Olieva Barnes, Mrs. Lela Jordan and Mrs. Juanita Ferrell of Springdale.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sisco Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Silent Grove Cemetery.

Paula Joye "Penny" Patton, 89, of Springdale passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born May 5, 1929 in Lowell, Arkansas to Luther and Gordie Stephenson Penny. Paula was a homemaker. She attended Faith Regular Baptist Church in Elm Springs. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and spending time with her grandkids. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1946.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin C. Patton to whom she married November 20, 1948; her parents, four brothers, Allen, Elmer, Lowell and Roger Penny and two sisters, Ferna Locklin, Donna Graham; one great grandson, Kayden Raye Patton. Survivors include one son, Luther Patton of Shell Knob, Missouri; two daughters, Penny Patton and Clyde Betnar of Rogers, Arkansas and Patti Pavlak and husband John of Rogers; six grandchildren, Jesse Patton and wife Ashleigh, Hannah Pavlak, Aaron Pavlak, Mary Patton, Jordan Patton and Carley Patton; two great grandchildren, Nickolas Patton and Alekzander Patton; two sister in laws, Dorothy Penny and Juanita Ferrell both of Springdale and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Silent Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
