ROGERS — Virginia Bea Laffin, 79, of Rogers, Ark., passed away April 26, 2021. She was born to the late Homer and Evelyn Holt.
She was one of 16 children and grew up in the Gravette/Decatur area. She graduated top of her class from Decatur High School in 1959. Bea met Charles Kenneth Laffin, in Springdale, Ark., and they were married on May 29, 1968. They had their daughter Patty Diane on June 11, 1969.
"Bea" is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; their daughter, Patty Diane; and eight of her siblings, Pansy Lakey, Betty McCain, Juanita Browning, Jim Holt, Judy Holt, Glenn Holt, Rita Kay Holt and Lita May Holt.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Michael Anthony Rice and Leah Wilson; siblings, Polly Curtsinger, Patty Boyle, Mary King, Bill Holt, Penny Cox, Joann Brumbaugh and Jeff Holt.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at Generations Church, located at 4123 Silent Grove Road, Springdale, Ark., 72762. Burial will be at Silent Grove Cemetery adjacent to Generations Church.
