Mrs. Naomi Henderson Perkins, 53, 704 Cherry St., died Wednesday in her home unexpectedly. Born in El Dorado, April 11, 1917, she was the daughter of Wiley and Cora Hernton Henderson. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Sunshine Charity Club, Amy Richard Assembly No. 203 The Order of The Golden Circle and the Worthy Matron of Pride of El Dorado Chapter No. 352 Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Sgt. Lee W. Perkins, U. S. Army, Germany; a sister, Mrs. Ester Lee Greer, New Orleans, La.; and a brother, Robert Andrew Henderson, Boston, Mass. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Douglas Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. J. T. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Lott Bergy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. The body will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday. (El Dorado Times - January 5, 1971)
