Vernice Janell Andrews, 69, of El Dorado, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at her residence.
Born March 1, 1943, she was the daughter of Oliver Davis and Polly Ann Carodine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Tanner; a son, Odell Andrews Jr.; a grandson, Brandon Meeks; a great-grandson, Peyton Brown; and four brothers, Jerry J. Gentle, Johnny L. Clemons, David C. Davis and Napoleon B. Moore.
Survivors include two sons, Jeremiah Tanner of El Dorado and James Tanner of Little Rock; two daughters, Belinda Modica of El Dorado and Kathryn Ayres of Panama City, Fla.; three brothers, Franklin Davis and Travis Scott, both of El Dorado, and Tyrome Scott of Conway; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Public viewing will be held after the funeral service only.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Andrews Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alvin McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
