Edwin "Shug" Neal, age 83, of Center Hill, died Saturday, April 18, 2009. He was born Friday, August 28, 1925 in Harmony Community, Arkansas to Luster and Lillie Varner Neal.
He is survived by two daughters Tammie Damon of Center Hill, Arkansas and Linda Diane Kelley of Texas City, Texas; one son Daral "Pete" Johnson of Lakewood, California; and one grandson Nathan James of Center Hill, Arkansas along with a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Shug was a hard working farmer and enjoyed Sunday fish fries and gatherings of his family, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
