Faith Colette Murphy, 47, of El Dorado, died recently at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Born Jan. 27, 1966, she was the daughter of Ronald and Patsy Washington Murphy. She was a member of Douglas Chapel Baptist Church. he graduated from El Dorado High School as a member of the Class of 1984, and attended Northwest University (ULM) in Monroe, La. She received her cosmetology license from Cloyd Beauty School in Monroe. She was a certified nursing assistant and Medicaid transporter, was a childhood development associate and was employed with South Arkansas Developmental Center for Children and Families. She was also a church pianist.
Survivors include her parents, Ronald and Patsy Murphy of El Dorado; and two sisters, LaTonya Austin and Rhonda Murphy-Belcher, both of Houston, Texas.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. D.L. Hegler officiating. Burial will be in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
