Sept 23, 1877 - July 20, 1967
*When John Henry Chism was born on September 23, 1877, in Monroe, Mississippi, his father, Lennard, was 42 and his mother, Frances, was 39. He married Pallie Luvean Mayes on January 20, 1899, in his hometown. They had ten children in 20 years. He died on July 20, 1967, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 89, and was buried there.
