PARIS — Lester Leon Kimberling Sr., 77, of Paris died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, in Paris. He was retired from Rheem Co. as a power shear operator in Chicago, was a World War II veteran and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at Paris Assembly of God. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Jenevia Jane Barham Kimberling; a daughter, Phyllis Darlene Metcalf of Ringgold, Ga.; three sons, Richard L. Kimberling of Cleveland, Tenn., the Rev. Robert L. Kimberling of Antigo, Wis., and Lester Leon Kimberling Jr. of Kankakee, Ill.; three sisters, Virginia Tieman of Bakersfield, Calif., Betty Louise Baccus of Somis, Calif., Pearl Jean Davis of Oxnard, Calif.; two brothers, Billy Kimberling of Port Hueneme, Calif., and James Edward Kimberling of Oxnard, Calif.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
