*Sarah Weeks Lessenberry was born on December 13, 1819, in North Carolina, the daughter of Mary and Edmund. She had four sons and two daughters with John Bevill between 1842 and 1851. She died on January 17, 1896, in White, Arkansas, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
When John Bevill was born on February 16, 1814, in North Carolina, his father, John, was 34 and his mother, Frances, was 31. He had four sons and two daughters with Sarah Weeks Lessenberry between 1842 and 1851. He died on November 8, 1854, in Henderson, Tennessee, at the age of 40.
