WALNUT RIDGE -- Funeral services for Danny W. Housdan, 58, of Walnut Ridge, who died Saturday, June 15, at his residence will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bryan Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Charles Melton will officiate, and burial will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Stallings, Bobby Lamb, Cole Ashlock, Ben Henry, Randy Crum and Keith Fears.

Honorary pallbearers will include Christopher Summers and Phillip Rodgers.

A lifetime resident of Walnut Ridge, he was a manufacturing engineer and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Housdan of the home; one son, Kalyn Housdan of Memphis; five sisters, Betty Murph of Mountain Home, Kitty Stringfellow of Conway, Vida Stallings of Black Rock, Carolyn Lamb of Ravenden Springs and Clarissa Belt of San Antonio, Texas; and three brothers, Dennis Housdan of Charlottesville, Va., Michael Housdan of Texas and Teddy Housdan of Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Geneva Sullivan Housdan, and one sister.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sharon Kay Housdan, 74 of Walnut Ridge; died January 23, 2022, in the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.

Born October 17, 1947 in Alicia; daughter of the late, Author Allen Crum Sr. and Rose V. Colvey Crum. She was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Sharon loved to collect Jewelry, Crystal’s and Teddy Bear’s. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her pet poodle, Molly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Housdan; her only son, Kalyn Wayne Housdan; three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her three brothers, Ben (Betty) Crum of Rockford, IL, Bob (Jeanette) Crum of Black Rock and Tom (Shirley) Crum of Walnut Ridge; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Private interment was held in the Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia.
