FAYETTEVILLE — Helen Louise Maledon, 91, of Fayetteville, formerly of Fort Smith, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, in a local hospital. She retired as a registered nurse with St. Edward Mercy Medical Center. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Fort Smith and was the widow of John Maledon.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by three nieces, Sally Bracken of Fort Smith, Mary Pat Allen of Tulsa and Mary Wilbanks of Bentonville; six great nieces and nephews; two great-great nieces; and one great-great nephew.
