Ray D. Polk, 79 of Searcy, died Saturday, March 05, 2011. He was born January 28, 1932 in Butlerville, Arkansas to the late Dee and Mattie Freeman Polk. Mr. Polk attended the First Assembly of God Church in Searcy. He was a 32 Degree Mason and past Master of Searcy Masonic Lodge #49. Mr. Polk enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, one daughter, Rojeana Polk, precedes him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lavetia Walters Polk of Searcy; son, Andy R. Polk and wife Charlene of Alma; one granddaughter, Ashley Garris and husband Billy of Alma; one great grandson, Hayden Polk of Alma; one sister, Hazel Wyatt of Letona.
