Lois V. Danels, 84, of Searcy, died March 5, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Danels was born November 2, 1926 in Fisher, Arkansas to the late Bond and Lena Thrasher Lane.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerome L. Danels; one brother, Bill Lane; two sisters, Mavis Dale and Juanita Lane; and one grandson, Ricky Smith.
She is survived by one son, Bill Danels and wife Thea of Tennessee; three daughters, Joann Danels and Dianne Smith of Searcy, and Sheila Danels of South Carolina; one brother, Jim Lambert and wife Helen of Kensett; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
