James Richard Canter, Jr. (Jimmy), age 33, born in Searcy on February 12, 1979 departed from his earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 1, 2012 as a result of an ATV accident.
Jimmy leaves behind to cherish loving memories his wife, Morgan Marty Canter, whom he shared 12 wonderful years with and was the love of his life, and three precious children, Alexis Jade (8 years), Dakota James (2 years), and Kaycee Jace (4 months). Jimmy is the son of James and Vicki Canter of Searcy, and brother of Jayme Osborne, husband Clark, and children Lydia and Ellie. He is also survived by his grandfather, Ralph Dyer of Modesto, California, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Dyer and grandparents James E. and Olga Canter.
Jimmy loved God and his family and lived for both working as a welder and a custom hay baler. He graduated from Riverview High School in 1997, and went on to graduate from Tulsa Welding School in 2002. He loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting, and being outdoors. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help others out. He was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Searcy and loved his church family.
Jimmy will be deeply missed and constantly thought of
