Robert Hogan Valentine, 68, of Paris died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, in Booneville. He was a farmer for 47 years, a member of Roseville Baptist Church, serving as a past deacon, a member of North Logan County Fair Board, served on the Paris School Board for 13 years and was preceded in death by his parents, John Eustace and Minnie P. Hunnicutt Valentine.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Roseville Baptist Church with burial at McVay Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Jewell Grady Valentine of the home; two daughters, Phyllis Deacon and Patty Wilcox, both of Paris; a son, Robert Lee Valentine of Paris and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Wyers, Bill Gattis, Abe Willems, Mark Vogelpohl, Mike Whitman and Clayton Cooper.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Roseville Baptist Church and men's Sunday school class.
