*When Roger Cleveland Rice was born on April 10, 1922, in Arkansas, his father, Oscar, was 30 and his mother, Julia, was 30. He married Ozella Bernice Hughes on November 6, 1944. They had two children during their marriage. He died on February 8, 1986, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 63, and was buried there.
