Wife of Arlie Atha "Red" Terry
Reba Ray Rider Terry, 77, of Fort Smith died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Ozark to John Ray Rider and Rosie Belle Pettigrew Rider. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Terry. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jones and husband Terry of Fort Smith and Jackie Hamby and husband Mike of Lee's Summit, Mo.; two sons, Arlin Terry and wife Peggy, and David Terry and wife Rosemary, both of Fort Smith; two sisters, Lucille Wilson of Fairfield Bay and Ann Wallock of Little Rock; a sister-in-law, Wilma Kelly of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff, James and Michael Jones, Aric Terry, Scott Jasper and Jamie Hamby. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
