Honey Hill (At Searcy) Cemetery
White County,
Arkansas

*This cemetery is located beside the old Honey Hill Christian Union Church in west Searcy. To reach it, take Highway 36 west from Searcy approximately three miles to Honey Hill Road. Turn left (south) and continue approximately a mile to the top of Honey Hill, where the cemetery is on the left by the church. Leister E. Presley of Searcy first listed this cemetery for the White County Historical Society on November 17, 1983. He listed 91 names. An update was prepared October 11, 2000, by Historical Society member Leroy Blair. Blair reported the cemetery “nice and clean and fenced in.” He did not find any unmarked graves. The Society has added subsequent burials based on published obituaries. Blair was chairman of the Historical Society cemetery committee and a member of the board when he returned to this site on January 24, 2005. He checked every tombstone, added 19 names to the burial list and made other adjustments. He reported there are now two unmarked graves in the cemetery.
