*When Daniel Walker "Walker" Pollard was born on January 15, 1875, in Gadsden, Alabama, his father, Benjamin, was 36 and his mother, Sarah, was 24. He married Julia Florence Tucker in 1896. They had nine children in 21 years. He died on December 5, 1918, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 42, and was buried there.
