Lillie Mae "Aunt Chick" (Hice) Lovelace, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in Paris.
She was born July 24, 1920 in Franklin County, Arkansas to the late Luther Franklin Hice and Susie Anna (Milligan) Hice. She was 92 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Lee Lovelace; two daughters, Joanne Lovelace and Virginia Oxford; one great-granddaughter, Joy Beckett; one sister, Leddie DuVall; and five brothers, Tom Deeds, Everett, Francis, Muriel, and Earl Hice.

Lillie was a homemaker and member of the Full Gospel Mission Church in Paris since 1964.

The widow of a coal miner and always willing to help anyone in need. She loved her Lord and was eager to tell someone about Jesus. She always had a song in her heart. She was the last living child of the Luther and Susie Hice family and the widow of the last of the Lovelace brothers. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. J.W. Glidewell and Rev. James Hice officiating. Burial will be at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by four daughters, Imogene Moffett and husband Richard, Sue Pearson and husband Charles, Mary Riley, and Tammy Willman and husband Dennis, all of Paris; one son, Cecil Lovelace and wife Carolyn of Paris; (23) grandchildren; (32) great-grandchildren; (52) great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Moffett, Mike Moffett, Jimmy Moffett, Tim Moffett, William Watts, and Jeff Watts.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
