Susie Jane (Eoff) Kimberling was the youngest child born to John David Eoff and Elizabeth Ann Reynolds, natives of Arkansas. Susie's siblings were Nancy Dora (Eoff) Keeton, Reuben Mairon Eoff, William Riley Eoff, Sidney Robert Eoff, Marcus Lafayette Eoff, John Isaac Eoff and H B Eoff (d.y.). Both parents died before 1900 and their children boarded with family members and neighbors. Susie was living with her sister, Dora Keeton, in 1900 in Newton County, Arkansas. Dora died in 1904.
Susie married James Taylor Kimberling December 27, 1908 in Logan County, Arkansas. Under age, she was granted permission to marry by her brother, Sidney Eoff, acting as guardian. James and Susie had nine children born and raised in Logan County, Arkansas: Orvel John Kimberling, Irene (Kimberling) Pitts, Woodrow Wilson Kimberling, Olan James Kimberling, Herman Roscoe Kimberling, Regina Florence (Kimberling) Carpenter, Mary J (Kimberling) Carpenter, Wanda F (Kimberling) Clark and Mark Marion "Mackey" Kimberling. James "Jim" Kimberling was a coal miner.
