April 11, 1928 - September 19, 2018
Jimmie B. Neely, 90, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born April 11, 1928 to Elbert W. and Ruthie Nalls Neely in Smackover, AR.
He retired from Long's Sheet Metal after nearly 50 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Jimmie was a founding member of Neely Deer Club and an avid deer, turkey hunter and also enjoyed fishing with his family.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years Janette Neely of El Dorado; daughter, Teresa Neely of Hot Springs Village, AR; three sons, Michael Neely (Norma), Larry Neely (Lori), Richard Neely (Angela) all of El Dorado; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Young's.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating.
