Annette (Anne) Steelman Johnson, 76, passed away December 5th, 2015 at 9:22 p.m. at the Life Touch Hospice, El Dorado.
Born Annette Steelman in Camden, AR on September 4th, 1939, she moved to El Dorado after her 1958 marriage to John Lawson Johnson and they ultimately settled in the Parkers Chapel Community in 1977.

Mrs. Johnson graduated from Fairview High School, Camden and became an LPN at Union Medical Center in El Dorado until retirement. An expert seamstress Ann also owned and operated Anne’s Upholstery and Drapery. She loved caring for her family and playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of East Main Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar “Snookem” and Marybell Steelman; her sister Barbara Ann Steelman Stone; her brother Thomas Richard Steelman and two special angels.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John Lawson Johnson; her daughters Kathy White (Grady) of El Dorado, Janet Johnson Deeds (Jake ) of El Dorado, Sharon Cheatham (Larry ) of El Dorado and Barbara Dalby (Jason ) of Manchester, UK; Brothers Bennie Steelman (Sonya) and Clifford Steelman (Ann) all of Camden; along with her grandchildren Corey, Lauren, Devin, Brittney, Seth, Tyler, and Beau Maxwell; her great grandchildren Adyson, Brayden, Baylor, Gavin, Archer, and Sienna. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Young’s Funeral Directors.

The funeral service will be Wednesday December 9, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Young’s Chapel with Bro. Bob Inmon officiating. Burial will follow at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery in Parkers Chapel under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors
