Charles Kevin KICK

Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery
Union County,
Arkansas

March 12, 1979 - October 24, 2020

Charles “Kevin” Kick, 41, of El Dorado, AR., known to many as “Love” met the Lord on October 24, 2020, while in his family’s home, surrounded by loved ones.

Kevin was born on March 12, 1979 in El Dorado, AR to Danny and Donna Kick. Kevin graduated from Junction City High School in 1998. Kevin was a hard worker with an admirable work ethic. He had been employed by Brookshires Grocery Company (NW. Ave.) where he held various positions before being promoted to Dairy Manager in 2019.

Kevin was an avid sports fan with an unwavering loyalty to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Kevin enjoyed watching the games with family and friends and razzing his LSU fan, friends anytime the Razorbacks won.

Kevin thoroughly loved going to the lake and had many great times with family and friends. Kevin participated in and created countless fond memories for many to cherish.

Before becoming an angel in Heaven, Kevin was already an angel on earth. Kevin was a kind, loving person who was able to find the good in life and bring joy and laughter. Kevin was many things but one thing he was not, is a complainer. Kevin never complained, not even while fighting his courageous battle with cancer.

Kevin loved spending time with his friends and family and in line with his nickname “Love” Kevin loved everyone and anyone who knew him loved him.

Kevin is survived by his parents Danny and Donna Kick of El Dorado, AR; brother Russ Kick (Kohli) of El Dorado, AR; Grandmother, Nell Stanley of El Dorado, AR; nieces: Dani Jo and Calla Kick; nephews: Des and Bowen Kick and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Leo and Georgia Kick of Pocahontas, AR and Grandfather Jimmy Glen Stanley of Crossett, AR.

A visitation will be held at Young’s Funeral Directors on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 12:00pm. A burial will follow at the Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery at 2 pm with Rev. Luther Harris officiating.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in Kevin’s name to Carti Cancer Center at 8901 Carti Way, Little Rock, AR 72205; #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation, 145 Parker Drive, El Dorado, AR 71730; American Cancer Society.
