*When John Comer Lewis was born on March 14, 1857, in Fulton, Arkansas, his father, John, was 32 and his mother, Ruth, was 29. He married Louisa Isabella Bell on July 18, 1878, in Ripley, Missouri. They had 14 children in 26 years. He died on June 14, 1920, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 63, and was buried in Kensett, Arkansas.
Louisa Isabella Bell was born on September 14, 1861, in Doniphan, Missouri. She married John Comer Lewis on July 18, 1878, in Ripley, Missouri. They had 14 children in 26 years. She died on June 5, 1940, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 78, and was buried in Inglewood, California.
