BELLA VISTA — Janice Lynn Howard, 54, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark. She was born on Sept. 25, 1956, in Biloxi, Miss., to James F. Abbott and Margaret Jane Aubrey Abbott.
She married Nathan Howard on May 18, 1979, in Fort Worth, Texas. She moved to Bella Vista 20 years ago from Fort Worth, Texas. She was an avid quitter and artist.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan Howard of Bella Vista, Ark.; father and stepmother, James and Wanda Abbott of Bella Vista, Ark.; maternal grandmother, Ruby Aubrey of Bella Vista, Ark.; two sisters, Beverly Price of Florida and Cathy Reed and husband Jim of Bella Vista, Ark.; two uncles, George Abbott and wife Bobbie, and Bill Abbott; and aunt, Melanie Aubrey.
Private services are planned. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 5248, Bella Vista, AR 72714.
