Alice Marie Milam Furstenberg of Fort Smith was born December 15, 1923 in Roseville, Arkansas. She ended her worldly journey on October 7, 2007 in Fort Smith.
Marie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and was a fierce competitor at dominoes. Marie retired from Dixie Cup in 1986.
Rosary was October 9, 2007 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Mass was Wednesday October 10, 2007 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City, Arkansas.
She is survived by two daughters: July Borland and her husband Danny of Pearcy, Arkansas, Linda Harlan and her husband Harvey of Hackett; one son John T. Furstenberg and his wife Kathy of Fort Smith; one sister Mary Nell Griffin of Alma; two brothers Thomas Milam of Modesto, California, and John Milam of Gainesville, Texas and two grandsons David Green of Fayetteville, AR and Chris Harlan of Hackett, AR.
